Activities that take place during the monthly meetings of GEF include: presentation of works in progress, discussion of research projects; active learning of music theory aspects, descriptive and inferential statistics, as well as proper lessons on the operation of recording devices for data collection, for phonetic studies and tools meant for analyzing speech data (mostly in the form of software).
